The Brief
Moeve, the global energy company formerly known as Cepsa, needed a professional interview setup at their Madrid headquarters to film their CEO Maarten Wetselaar and other senior executives. The challenge: create broadcast-quality content without disrupting daily operations at a busy corporate HQ.
Our Approach: Small Footprint, Big Results
Corporate headquarters aren’t built for film crews. People are working, meetings are happening, and executives have packed schedules. We designed a compact interview studio that could be assembled quickly, operate quietly, and pack down without leaving a trace.
The Setup
- Camera Package:
- 2x Sony FX6 on tripods for the main interview angles
- Sony FX3 on gimbal for dynamic B-roll and walking shots
- Portable teleprompter for smooth delivery
- Lighting:
- Nanlite fixtures with softboxes
- Designed for quick setup and minimal heat output
- Flattering executive lighting that works with office environments
- The Crew
A lean five-person team kept things moving efficiently:
- Producer – Coordinating schedules and keeping everything on track
- Camera Operator/DOP – Leading the visual approach
- Assistant Camera – Managing technical setup and media
- Gaffer – Lighting design and power management
- Sound Recordist – Broadcast-quality audio capture
Why This Approach Works
When you’re filming C-suite executives, time is the constraint. Our setup allowed us to:
- Set up in under an hour in a designated space
- Minimise disruption to surrounding offices
- Maintain flexibility for schedule changes
- Deliver consistent quality across multiple interview subjects
The two-camera setup with gimbal gave the edit team options: static frames for the core interview content, plus dynamic shots to keep things visually engaging.
