High Stakes Films approached us for PUMA and JD Sports’ CA Pro sneaker campaign featuring Spanish rapper RVFV. They needed authentic Barcelona street culture content captured across multiple locations in a single day.
The brief was ambitious: capture both high-end product photography and dynamic video content across multiple Barcelona locations. All in one day. With 30+ people to coordinate.
The biggest challenge? Location scouting that actually worked for everyone. High Stakes Films had a specific creative vision, they wanted genuine Barcelona street culture, not tourist spots. But we also needed locations that could handle a full production crew, equipment trucks, and all the logistics that come with filming a major brand campaign.
Our location scouting specialists spent weeks identifying spots that looked authentically urban while still being accessible for our camera crew and equipment. Each location had to pass both the “does this look right?” test and the “can we actually shoot here without problems?” test.
Our film permits team handled all municipal permissions for each location, ensuring smooth operations without scheduling delays.
As a comprehensive production service Barcelona provider, we assembled an 11-person local crew including our producer, 2 assistant producers, 1st AD, DOP, camera operator, makeup artist, stylist, 2 runners, and location manager. Combined with High Stakes Films’ team and clients, we coordinated 30+ people moving between locations throughout the day.
Technical Setup: We configured a dual capture system using a BlackMagic 6K with Canon cine lenses for primary video content, alongside a Sony FX6 equipped with gimbal and tripod for additional coverage and movement shots. This setup enabled simultaneous high-resolution video production without missing any shot.
One moment that stood out: halfway through filming RVFV’s scenes, local fans started gathering around the set. Kids asking for photos, people wanting autographs. RVFV and his team were absolute professionals about it, taking time with fans while keeping the energy up for filming. It reminded everyone why authenticity matters in these campaigns.
Our location manager coordinated rapid venue changes while our camera operators adapted the BlackMagic and Sony setups to each environment, maintaining creative momentum throughout the day.
High Stakes Films brought the creative vision, and we delivered complete full production service: permits, crew coordination, equipment, catering, transportation for 30+ people moving between locations throughout the day.

Running simultaneous photography and video meant careful coordination between our camera operators and lighting specialists. The mobile lighting packages adapted quickly as we moved between Barcelona’s varied urban environments, while our equipment transport ensured seamless transitions between locations.
